Almost every guide to this subject assumes you have already decided to install something. This one starts a step earlier, because for most players in India the honest answer is that the app is optional and the browser is the better choice. If you read only one section, read the first two.

First question: do you need the app at all?

Ask yourself what you actually want from it. In practice there are three honest reasons and one bad one.

Reasonable: you want a one-tap launcher instead of hunting for the address; you want notifications for round results or withdrawal status; you are on a connection where a native shell feels smoother than a mobile browser.

Not a reason: you believe the app gives better odds, faster payouts or access to games the browser does not have. It does not. One account and one rupee wallet sit behind both, so there is nothing behind the app that the browser cannot reach.

If your reasons are all in the first list, there is a lighter way to get them.

The browser route, which most people should take

Open the lobby in Chrome, sign in once, then use the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen. You get an icon that launches straight into the lobby, no storage cost worth mentioning, no permissions to grant, no update cycle to manage, and no file from outside the Play Store on your phone.

For the large majority of players this covers everything the app was wanted for. The two things it does not give you are background notifications and offline shell loading, and if neither matters to you, stop here. You have finished this page.

If you do install: what you are agreeing to

An installer outside the Play Store means you personally take on the checks the store would otherwise do. That is a real trade, so make it consciously.

Before tapping anything, do these four checks:

• Get the file from the platform's own site, reached by an address you typed or a shortcut you saved. Never from a group chat, a file-sharing link, a "mirror" site or a comment section. Repackaged installers in this niche are common and they are repackaged for a reason.
• Read the permission list at install time and be suspicious of anything unrelated to a game lobby. Storage and notifications are expected. Contacts, SMS reading, call logs and accessibility services are not. SMS read access in particular would let an app see the one-time codes protecting your wallet.
• Check the size and version against the site's own stated figures. A file dramatically smaller or larger than advertised is a flag on its own.
• Do not turn off Play Protect. If an installer asks you to disable your phone's own scanner before it will run, that is the end of the conversation. Delete the file.

If any of those four checks fails, go back to the browser route. It costs you two features and removes the entire risk category.

The install, on an Android phone

Assuming the checks passed:

Step 1: Download the installer from the platform's own page. Your browser will warn you about files of this type; that warning is normal and is not the same as a malware alert.

Step 2: Allow installs from this browser when prompted. Android asks once, per source. Grant it to your browser, not to a file manager you do not recognise.

Step 3: Tap the downloaded file and let Play Protect scan it. Let the scan finish. If it flags the file, stop.

Step 4: Install, then open and sign in with your existing details. Do not register again. One account works in both the app and the browser, and a second account is the fastest route to a frozen balance.

Step 5: Revoke the install permission afterwards. Settings, apps, your browser, "install unknown apps", off. You needed it for one minute and you do not need it standing open.

Step 6: Delete the installer file from your Downloads folder so an old version cannot be reinstalled by accident later.

On an iPhone

There is no installable app of this kind for iOS in the normal way, and you should treat any page claiming otherwise as a warning sign rather than a shortcut. Use Safari, sign in, then Share and Add to Home Screen. You get the same icon behaviour described above. Anyone offering you a profile to install, a "developer certificate", or an alternative store to sideload from is asking for a level of access to your phone that no game lobby should ever have.

Low-end phone reality: storage, RAM and data

This matters more than the guides admit, because a lot of players are on 2 GB or 3 GB handsets.

The shell itself is small, but the cached game assets grow steadily with use, and on a phone that is already near full that shows up as a lobby that reloads images every time you scroll. Clearing the app cache monthly in Android settings fixes it without signing you out. Data use is modest for number draws and noticeably heavier for live tables, so if you are metering data, prefer the draw games or stay on Wi-Fi.

If the app stutters where the browser did not, uninstall it. A stuttering lobby in a game where rounds close on a timer is not a cosmetic problem: it is a way to miss the close of a round you meant to sit out.

Updating, and the update that is not an update

Because it did not come from a store, nothing updates it automatically. Updates arrive as a prompt inside the app, and the file is fetched the same way the first one was.

The scam to know about: a message by SMS, WhatsApp or push telling you your app is out of date, with a link. That is not how the update reaches you. Updates surface inside the app you already trust, or on the site you reach from your own saved shortcut. Every link-led "urgent update" in this category should be treated as an attempt to swap your installer for a modified one.

Removing it cleanly

Uninstalling the app does nothing to the account, the wallet or a pending withdrawal, and people hesitate over this unnecessarily. The account lives on the platform's servers, not on your handset.

To leave cleanly: uninstall in the normal way, then sign in through the browser once to confirm you still have access, and check that no withdrawal is mid-flight. If one is, let it land first, purely so you are not chasing a payment status through a channel you have just removed.

The thing an install cannot change

A faster launcher does not change the mathematics behind the games. Every round is randomised and the edge is permanent, so whatever you stake is entertainment spend that can reach zero. Set the rupee figure first, in the calm before you install anything, and let that number decide the session rather than the session deciding the number.
